Capsule Geology

The Claw 2 occurrence is located 2.9 kilometres west of Moosehorn Lake about 256 kilometres northwest of the community of Germansen Landing.

The Claw 2 showing is underlain by volcanics of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group. Rocks of the Lower-Middle Jurassic Hazelton Group occur to the east and west of the Claw 2 area.

In 2005, Stealth Mineral Ltd. collected several samples from one area of the Claw 2 claim. An andesitic sample with quartz stockwork yielded greater than 1 per cent copper and 19.6 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 27635). Values from other samples were high in lead and zinc. Chalcopyrite was noted in the samples.
